Northumbria Police Federation today remembers PC Michael Urwin who died on this day 33 years ago.
The Northumbria officer died in a road accident as he cycled home from duty on 1 December 1992.
Federation branch chair Nick Munnelly said: “Our thoughts today are with Michael’s loved ones as they mark this sad anniversary once again.
“We also remember Michael’s service to the Force and to the communities we all serve.”
